Today is all about booking events for Sexy Feminism‘s release. March is suddenly coming fast, thanks to the holidays, so it’s time to lock all that stuff down. I had made some progress the week before the hurricane, but then everyone stopped caring about book events in March, or answering emails at all, so I had to backtrack a bit. We’ll likely have at least a release party, if not also a few other events, in New York March 13-18, when my co-author, Heather, is planning to be in town. We’re definitely having a panel discussion about “what feminism means” at Word bookstore in Brooklyn on March 28. Then it’ll be onto the San Francisco/Sacramento area, where Heather lives, for more events a few weeks later. We have loads of ideas for fun discussions — I hope we get to do them all!
